    Hello Ireland and England.
Today it is snowing in Åkra. The fields are white already. This is not quite unusual.Even in May we might have snow, but at this time of the year, the snow does not last for long, luckily. Time for sledging is over for this time.

8th-10 th class have an English test this day, writing texts and answering qustions. This will be the last one before an eventual exam. In May they will either be examined in Norwegian, Maths or English. In addition there will be an oral test later (in June) in some other subject.

    • stbrendans said

      Hello everyone,
Thanks for your message. Our pupils were amazed to hear that it is snowing in Akra. The weather in ireland is beautiful at the moment. The sun is shining and it has been lovely here for the past three weeks. We hope it continues for a bit longer as we have Confirmation here on Sunday. This is a special day in the lives of our pupils and their families when the bishop visits our parish to confirm the pupils. We wish your pupils well in their exams and we look forward to speaking to you again soon.

What would you like us to know about Yorkshire and your local area? Your nearest town is Huddersfield, I guess. What is this town known for? We know that you have excellant footbal teams, but do everyone fancy football? If not, which other sports are popular?
